Participants from across the country (17 different states!) joined in to hear our best branding secrets in a nutshell. When we asked them (via SurveyMonkey) if they would recommend it to other people, we received a unanimous “Yes!” Our favorite response was: “Yes! And have already done so!”

We wanted to know how our webinar compared to others that our participants may have attended, so we asked them to rate us against them on a 1 to 10 scale. The Branding: In a Nutshell Webinar consistently earned 9’s and 10’s from our participants with comments like: “one of the best” and “way better than other seminars I’ve attended”. No truer words have been spoken, as Millie and I have learned.  In our enthusiasm for sharing everything that we know about branding, marketing, networking and selling, we got a little too excited.  We initially spaced the webinars just one week apart.  But, we’ve spent so many hours (we stopped counting at 80!) pouring everything we know into our Branding:  In a Nutshell webinar, we soon realized that we would need a few more weeks between each webinar in order to collect and distill all of our great tips, resources, and tools into those meaty, content-rich nutshells we’ve promised.

You know that crazy time when you’ve been working on a project for way too long and you’re hyped on caffeine and you’re starting to get a little slap happy and you start tossing around ideas and then all of a sudden–Eureka!–you hit on something that’s just too good to ignore?  I have those moments a lot.

One of them happened while working on the Get It Together Kit.  I spent hundreds of (crazy!) hours working side by side with my brother, graphic design genius Brent Holloman, and my friend, Charlene Dupray, who wrote the copy for the book.  As we worked on the kit, we realized that we had so much more we want to share.

Because, let’s fact it.  Business can be a touch nut to crack. No matter what business you’re in, you’re in the business of branding, marketing, networking and selling.  Yet for many small business owners, these four topics can feel confusing, overwhelming and just plain hard.
